Educa | Educational Television

A project by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education to serve the student population through high-quality, educational, and entertaining programming. At NDA, together with Anima Estudio, we posed the challenge: How can we change the idea that educational television is boring?
We built a brand architecture that spoke to both institutional stakeholders and an audience eager for interaction and learning.
We also developed a specific typeface for the project, inspired by the Chinese Tangram puzzle.
Educa took on a new dimension during the pandemic: it was used by public school teachers as a distance learning tool.
