We are the kind of people who dream of

better branding.

NDA was born with a clear idea: design can (and should) also move important things.

That's why we're dedicated to building purpose-driven brands—those that don't just sell, but transform: how we eat, what we value, who we listen to.

We are designers, strategists, editors, and fans of projects that have something valuable to say.

From an educational television channel to a healthy ice cream chain, our expertise lies in designing strategies and visual languages based on both data and creativity. Better branding is possible.

Jaime Nuñez del Arco

FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTION

A designer, cultural entrepreneur, and teacher by conviction, Jaime has spent over 20 years doing what he loves most: thinking, designing, and building brands that have something to say.

He started at J. Walter Thompson at age 17 and hasn't put down his pencil (or his judgment) since. He was one of the first to speak seriously about branding in Ecuador, organizing conferences such as Grafitat, MUCA, and En Sus Marcas in the early 2000s.

Over time, his obsession with ideas led him to found Terminal Ediciones , a publishing house that publishes Latin American artists and thinkers both within and outside the continent, and which has had his books featured in places like the New York Public Library and the MACBA in Barcelona.

Taschen publishing house included him in its selection of the best designers in Latin America.

But Jaime prefers to be thought of as someone who helps make brands clearer, more honest, and more useful. And, if possible, more beautiful, too.

Gabriela Valarezo

ART DIRECTOR, FOOD DESIGNER AND COMMUNITY BUILDER

Gabriela thinks with her stomach, designs with her head, and creates from her heart. Her work revolves around a single axis: food as a system, culture, and language.

She was part of Foodlosofía, the pioneering food design studio in Latin America; she directed the gastronomic section Quiero Comer (I Want to Eat) in GK, where she wrote about nostalgia, memory, and food; and she worked as a food strategist at Arca Tierra, a Mexican regenerative agriculture company. Today, she teaches in the Food Design and Innovation Specialization program at CENTRO (CDMX), where she trains the next generation of edible designers.

She is also the co-founder of COMA , NDA's sister studio, specializing exclusively in food projects: brands, products, spaces, and experiences that nourish in a fairer, richer, and more conscious way.

Gabriela connects points that many don't touch: design, agriculture, communication, and food culture. Her work isn't limited to beautifying what we eat, but rather rethinking how and why we eat it.
